The P.S. 80Q Tech. Squad is made up of dedicated scholars in grades K–5 who support and maintain technology throughout our school. As student leaders, they help manage devices and equipment in classrooms and common areas, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for learning.
In addition to providing tech support, team members play a key role in keeping our inventory organized and up to date. They help catalog and track supplies so our school stays fully equipped and ready.
The Tech Team also serves as storytellers for our community. By photographing and recording school events, they create engaging content for our social media platforms and showcase the amazing things happening at P.S. 80Q.
Select members are trained as Junior Webmasters, maintaining our school website with fresh updates that highlight student achievements, upcoming events, and important family information.
Through this work, Tech Team members gain valuable hands-on experience while developing responsibility, teamwork, and 21st-century skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.
Stay tuned for updates on our state-of-the-art Multimedia Lab. We can't wait.
