The L2L Dance Troup

The P.S. 80Q L2L (Learn To Lead) Dance Troupe was founded by Mrs. Newton-Jones over 20 years ago. This dance troupe is made up of scholars from both the General Education and Special Education populations, and their talents are celebrated alongside each scholar’s unique abilities. We strive to build teamwork, friendships, and—above all—self-confidence that carries over into their academic success in the classroom.

Over the years, we have performed at numerous school events, community functions such as the UniverSoul Circus, and special occasions like Six Flags Great Adventure.

Our scholars love being part of the Dance Troupe and are eager to learn new skills and perform like true professionals.
