PS 80Q Instructional Focus ASY 2025 - 2026

PS80Q will continue to implement explicit, data-driven instruction tailored to the individual needs of scholars through targeted small group instruction.  Our instructional focus remains on establishing clear learning targets, modeling strategies step-by-step, and conducting purposeful checks for understanding to ensure mastery of grade-level standards in reading and writing.  

Principal Priority Statement ASY 2025 -2026

At PS80Q, we're continuing to grow together through focused professional development in grade bands that strengthens explicit instruction, especially in reading and writing.  We will analyze learning cycles that support data-driven lessons that support clear modeling, small group work, and meaningful checks for understanding.  

These cycles are designed to help refine our teaching, foster academic conversations, and improve student engagement and achievement across all subjects.
